Texas drought means more bears, wildlife in residential areas

The ongoing severe drought in Texas has sent more bears closer to people in search of food and water, and the state Parks and Wildlife Department is urging residents to avoid leaving people food and pet food outside where bears might find it. Other wild creatures are also heading closer to town in search of sustenance, including opossums, raccoons and snakes.
