Utah's liquor board is the only one without industry representation

The only licensing board in Utah that lacks members representing the industry it regulates is the state liquor board, according to an Associated Press analysis. State law prohibits anyone with ties to the restaurant or bar industry to sit on the board, an anti-business prohibition restaurant owners say reflects state lawmakers' disdain for alcohol consumption.
