Government will buy meat to help farmers, Obama says

President Barack Obama said the USDA will help farmers suffering because of drought by buying meat and catfish totaling $170 million. "We'll freeze it for later -- but we've got a lot of freezers," he said while campaigning in Iowa. "That will help ranchers, you know, who are going through tough times right now."
