The new Levi’s Stadium for the San Francisco 49ers is "a couple weeks ahead of schedule," according to Kavinder Singh of Turner Construction. More than 5,000 workers are building the $1.3 billion stadium, and the workforce might swell by an additional 50%. The complex in Santa Clara, Calif., will include a restaurant, roof garden and hall of fame. Factors such as the use of "early computerized planning and off-site fabrication" were key to speeding up the construction process so the stadium will be operational by July.
