CIA graduate and former head brewmaster of Chicago's Goose Island brewery, Jared Rouben, has struck out on his own to open Moody Tongue brewery. Rouben combines his skills as a chef to add food flavors and aromatics to his beer, such as chocolate and fruit."I just happen to think about food when I think about beer. For me, beer is food. We use our hands and take raw ingredients and create something that people consume," Rouben said.
