Former AMR CEO: Decision to block merger is "absolutely crazy"

Robert Crandall, the retired chairman, president and CEO of AMR, said the government is showing its ignorance by seeking to block the American Airlines-US Airways merger. "This is another indication that the U.S. government does not know the first thing about the aviation industry," he said. "It’s stunning. It’s absolutely crazy."
