Ill. business owner files lawsuit over signage

Belleville, Ill., bar owner Dianne Rogge has filed a federal lawsuit against the city, saying demands that she take down a sign in her bar's window were unconstitutional and driven by a desire to quiet political opposition. Rogge, a political opponent of Belleville Mayor Mark Eckert, put up the sign criticizing the city after she failed to win $15,000 in tax increment financing to renovate her business.
