Martin Jetpack gets go-ahead for manned testing from New Zealand

The Martin Aircraft Co. recently got the go-ahead from the New Zealand government to conduct manned tests of its Jetpack personal aircraft. Martin will initially be allowed to do tests flying up to 20 feet off the ground and 25 feet over water. The company plans to move forward with a paramilitary version of the aircraft and then later develop the recreational version.
