Samsung brings curved OLED TV to U.S., sets price at $9,000

Samsung Electronics has priced its curved 55-inch organic light-emitting diode television at $9,000 for the U.S. market, which is lower than the expected $15,000, in hopes of driving sales for the advanced TV. The OLED TV has a MultiView feature allowing viewers to watch two different programs at the same time, using 3-D glasses with earbuds. Samsung executives said there are no plans at present to offer a flat-screen version of the OLED TV, although such models could be manufactured.
