SBA touts contract work to help with Hurricane Sandy recovery

The Small Business Administration is encouraging small firms to seek out their share of government and private contract work amid recovery efforts following Hurricane Sandy. More than a quarter of the contracts have already gone to small businesses, said SBA chief Karen Mills, who also said that her agency has earmarked $13.1 million for new Sandy-recovery programs.
