S.C. district plans expansion of Dell tablet program

When the school year begins in a South Carolina district, all seventh- through 12th-grade students will use tablet devices, and officials say they plan to expand the one-to-one technology program to third- through sixth-grade students later this year. Officials say students will be allowed to take the devices home, as well as use them in the classroom. Students will use Dell Latitude 10 tablets, while teachers have been working with 200 Dell XPS 12 Ultrabooks.
