Seeking to enhance geographic knowledge in Canada

Geographers recently gathered in Canada to discuss how to address deficiencies in geographic knowledge in that country. Karl Donert, president of the European Association of Geographers, was among those who attended the gathering to help develop a plan. "Establishing a very clear vision of where Canadian geography wants to go I think is critical, and then to develop some timeline and some key projects is very important," Donert said.
