Summer camp focuses on learning to control behavior, anger

Philadelphia students with behavioral challenges received a mix of social-skills therapy and traditional camp activities during a five-week program funded by the city. The Summer Therapeutic Enrichment Program focused on helping students control anger and stay out of fights. Many of the students have experienced trauma or have been diagnosed with attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder, counselor Charles DeLeon said.
