Medical students show interest in DPC, rural health, school debt

Students at AAFP's National Congress of Student Members showed a big interest in direct primary care; increasing the number of family physicians practicing in rural, underserved areas; and student loan forgiveness. Students passed resolutions asking the Academy to offer education and training seminars on DPC and to consider developing an online database of family physicians who use DPC and would be willing to mentor students and residents.
