Mobile ad spend nearly doubled globally in 2013

North America and Asia were neck-and-neck last year as mobile ad spend globally nearly doubled, reaching $19.3 billion, according to an estimate by the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Mobile Center of Excellence in partnership with IHS Technology and IAB Europe. In North America, spend more than doubled to $8.1 billion, although the biggest percentage gain was seen in Latin America at 215%.
