Stanford partners with software company to speed up genomic analysis

Scientists at Stanford School of Medicine are collaborating with engineers at software developer SAP to accelerate the process of genomic analysis. The collaboration also includes participation in the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health. Researchers have already entered some 2,000 genomic data sets into a database and are using a platform and software from SAP to analyze the data comparatively quickly.
