FDA checking on Boston Scientific's treatment for acid reflux

The FDA is reviewing Boston Scientific's treatment for acid reflux disease following reports of one death and several injuries involving the company's Enteryx kit, used by surgeons to strengthen the esophagus. However, an FDA spokeswoman said the problem does not appear to be with the device, and the company said surgical errors may be responsible.
