E-health alliance says health IT rules must be standardized

The State Alliance for e-Health recommends the federal government work with states to standardize laws for the use of electronic exchanges of health records, citing current obstacles for health IT. The alliance's state-level organization will work with the government on adjusting federal rules and also will work to reduce variability in state policies.
