Survey says users narrowly prefer Yahoo! to Google

Yahoo! scored higher than Google for the first time in a user survey, earning 79 points out of 100, versus Google's 78, in the University of Michigan American Consumer Satisfaction Index. The higher score reflects users' embrace of Yahoo!'s revamped network of Web sites, e-mail and social networks, while preferring Google for search, the survey found.
