Private equity firm aims to spin off or sell Takko

Advent International, a US private equity firm, is looking to sell or spin off one of Germany's largest clothing chains Takko Fashion, according to the Financial Times. The retailer is valued at roughly €1.25 billion. Takko's sales have received a boost lately by Germans who have become increasingly price conscious.
