$10K prize is up for grabs in federal Facebook app contest

The Lifeline Facebook App Challenge unveiled last week by the HHS calls on developers to create applications that leverage the social networking site to promote public readiness for disasters. The contest, which offers a $10,000 first prize, has been rescheduled to run from Aug. 22 to Nov. 4.
