Gerard comments on EPA's proposed ozone rules

The Environmental Protection Agency's decision to again delay the final issuance of ozone standards "is a positive sign that the adults are in the room, and there's a serious conversation about a job-destruction regulation," said American Petroleum Institute President and CEO Jack Gerard. "My hope is now that [senior government officials are] engaged, they're going to ask the fundamental question: Why are we doing this to ourselves if we don't have to?" added Gerard.
