IAB questions ICANN's domain-names plan

The Interactive Advertising Bureau is asking the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers to scrap its proposal several years in the making that would clear the way for up to 1,000 new generic top-level domains that would be allowed to include brand names or business segment identifiers. The move also is being protested by the Association of National Advertisers.
