Should educators sign up for Google+?

Google+ is an attractive option for educators interested in a social media presence, in part, because it offers enhanced privacy, says technology journalist Audrey Watters. The site allows users more control than other social media sites over what they share online and with who. However, Watters writes that the site's ban of users with pseudonyms and nicknames may cause some consternation because some teachers may want to further protect their privacy.
