Tenn. high court sides with Nissan employee in workers' comp suit

Tennessee's Supreme Court has overturned a Special Workers' Compensation Appeals Panel ruling and upheld a trial court's earlier decision that an injured Nissan factory worker is entitled to additional workers' compensation benefits. The high court found that the employer failed to give the worker a return-to-work opportunity that was "meaningful" after she had carpal-tunnel surgery.
