Study: Mobile users much prefer e-mail for brand messaging

E-mail tops SMS and in-application messaging among consumers willing to receive brand messages, according to Forrester research commissioned by Strongmail. And mobile users are more receptive, with almost two-thirds of smartphone owners saying they are open to receiving e-mail promotions at least once a week, while a nearly equal proportion say they never want SMS or in-app brand messages.
