$700 Chinese quadcopter a drone for the previously droneless

A nearly ready-to-fly quadcopter from Chinese manufacturer DJI may finally put drones, or unmanned aircraft, in the hands of a wider population. DJI's $700 Phantom can fly for 10 minutes on one battery charge and has GPS technology that keeps it stable in winds. It's equipped to carry different types of video cameras, including those that offer a live view as it flits about.
