CDC details 6 past outbreaks of keratoconjunctivitis

In six outbreaks of human adenovirus-associated epidemic keratoconjunctivitis in Florida, Illinois, Minnesota and New Jersey from 2006 to 2010, a total of 411 cases were reported, the CDC said. Each outbreak was linked to ophthalmologic care as well as community transmission. The findings were published in the agency's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
