Clothing prices rose again in July

Apparel retailers saw prices rise 0.6% in July after a 0.9% increase in June, led by girls' clothing prices which rose 3.9%, according to the Consumer Price Index released Thursday. Women's apparel prices rose 1.8% while men's fell 1.5%, including a 6.1% drop in sport coats and outerwear prices.
