Daytime eaters may have better weight-loss results, RD says

People who want to lose weight should consume the bulk of their calories during the day or when they need energy, writes registered dietitian Elisa Zied, who cites a study from the International Journal of Obesity that showed that people who ate lunch after 3 p.m. lost less weight. She recommends eating a healthy breakfast, having a hearty midday snack to fend off hunger and enjoying a light dinner several hours before bed.
