Fla. district issues weather-tracking devices to schools

To better protect students, Broward County, Fla., will issue Android WeatherBug tracking devices to every school, with each school getting as many as four devices. The devices can track lightning, heat index, wind speed and other severe weather. The devices reportedly are part of the district's efforts to protect students against severe weather during activities.
