High school devoted to teaching energy, science to open in Texas

Houston has a strong oil industry, so it may come as no surprise the city is launching a high school all about energy. Two hundred students are set to attend the Energy Institute High School, new to the Houston Independent School District. The school -- developed with input from industry professionals -- will offer students real-world learning opportunities, said Andrew Houlihan, the district's chief of major projects.
