H&M tests Ethiopia factories to grow supply chain

Swedish fast-fashion retailer H&M has placed test orders for garments with factories in Ethiopia, in an effort to find additional sources to feed its growing demand, the company said. The retailer, which sources much of its inventory from suppliers in Bangladesh, said expanding its outsourcing would not replace its commitment to Asian suppliers.
