IBM is among vendors picked for federal agency's cloud effort

IBM is among 10 vendors that have been awarded 10-year, $1 billion contracts to help the Department of the Interior deploy cloud-hosting services that are expected to save the federal government $100 million annually beginning in 2016. In addition to services including development testing, the agency will have use of IBM's Smart Cloud for Government.
