IBM to broaden cloud-security line with Trusteer buy

IBM has entered into an agreement to purchase security firm Trusteer, a developer of cloud-based solutions for protecting enterprise and mobile networks that are used by the financial industry. The deal, expected to close in the third quarter, is part of Big Blue's push to broaden its hosted security and services suite, and will lead to the creation of a cybersecurity lab in Israel with 200 researchers and developers, IBM said.
