McKinsey highlights CPG sustainability growth opportunities

Companies that innovate products and operations to improve sustainability will be better positioned to experience growth in coming years, McKinsey & Co.'s Steven Swartz said at the FMI and GMA Global Sustainability Summit in Seattle. "The next 10 years should be an unprecedented opportunity," Swartz said. The majority of companies in consumer packaged goods think renewable energy is the area of sustainability with the most potential to affect business, but the role of mobile is likely underestimated, he said.
