Navy's X-47 chose to abort its landing, official says

The Navy's Northrop Grumman-built X-47B drone would have landed on the carrier USS George H.W. Bush if it had been on a real flight instead of a test, but it redirected itself to the base after reviewing its instruments and its mission, says Adm. Mathias Winter. A review of the aborted landing found no problems. "If it had not been a test environment it would have landed," Winter says.
