Online review sites for advisers aren't practical

Review sites capture only a small percentage of customers, which works for a restaurant with thousands of customers but not for an adviser with 100 or fewer clients, Michael Kitces writes. Current regulations also prohibit advisers from encouraging clients to recommend them on such sites or encouraging potential customers to view such reviews, which limits the value of the reviews, Kitces writes.
