Physician with a bakery makes cake pops for hospice patients

A gastroenterologist who opened a gluten-free bakery in Las Vegas makes cake pops for terminally ill patients. Dr. Michael Zimmerman got the idea after baking a cake for a hospice patient who had not been eating well. The cake pops are an example of the efforts that more than 400 volunteers make for the patients of Nathan Adelson Hospice.
