Poll finds 10% of people have used someone else's Rx drugs

About 10% of Americans say they have taken a drug that was prescribed for someone else, and one-fourth of those people did so for recreational purposes, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found. About 60% of people who used someone else's medications did so for pain relief, and 20% took the drugs to sleep better or deal with anxiety and stress. Most of the drugs were obtained from a friend, family member or acquaintance.
