Report: Women use different social sites depending on fashion needs

Twitter is the most influential social media channel for women shopping for celebrity-endorsed luxury brands, while blogs and message boards are the go-to for inspiration on office apparel and special-event outfits, according to a survey from NetBase. Women look to Facebook for casual and workout wear, as well as the more photo-driven pages of Pinterest, the survey found.
