Russian Helicopters and AgustaWestland pursue joint venture

Russian Helicopters and AgustaWestland plan to sign key documents at the upcoming Moscow Air Show regarding their joint venture to build a 2.5-ton light helicopter. While neither company has released much information about the project, Russian Helicopters CEO Dmitry Petrov said they plan to have the aircraft certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency sometime in 2016.
