Soy germ pasta may improve gastropathy in diabetes

A small study found type 2 diabetes patients who consumed soy germ pasta that contained biologically active isoflavone aglycons showed better gastric emptying time at the end of the treatment than those who ate regular pasta. The results suggest "soy germ pasta may offer a simple dietary approach to managing diabetic gastropathy," researchers reported in Diabetes Care.
