Study finds few problems linked to ACA's benefit mandates

Major changes or cost increases will not be required as states and insurers adapt to new benefit mandates under the Affordable Care Act, according to a study by the Urban Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. "Overall the states in our review are managing the shift to essential health benefits well," the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Andy Hyman said. "In these states, health plans offered through exchanges will offer coverage options that are comprehensive and high-quality, and will be offered at an affordable price."
