Value of IT certifications is increasing, survey finds

The value of many IT certifications is increasing after six years of declines, a survey by Foote Partners finds. Project management and architecture certifications have increased in value by 1.8%, and database certifications are up by 1.5%. "I think certs pay will not go any lower if the economy stays as healthy as it is right now," chief analyst David Foote says.
