Why CTOs should be transformational leaders

It's time to turn chief technology officers into chief transformation officers, writes Daniel Burrus. That would indicate a shift away from a narrow focus on technology's practical uses, and a broader mandate to explore technology's potential implications. "In the near future, the CTO will need to oversee the transformation of every business process, including how you sell, market, communicate, collaborate, and innovate," Burrus predicts.
