Adults ages 25 to 54 prefer live TV to time-shifted content, but its popularity varies widely among markets. Viewers in Pittsburgh screen the most live TV, while those in San Francisco watch the least. For prime-time programming, audiences in Los Angeles, Houston and Dallas split their viewing about evenly between live and delayed.
