Report: Ad views for video content soar in Q2

Ad views for long-form and live video content in Q2 jumped 619%, with nearly four in 10 ads being viewed through TV applications, according to FreeWheel. Sports dominated the ad category, accounting for just over eight in 10 views, compared with 9% for news, 7% for scripted dramas and 3% for comedy/variety content.
