Sears bolts Ogilvy for Y&R

After 43 years with Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Sears, Roebuck and Co. is taking its advertising business, estimated at between $600 million and $640 million annually, to WPP Group sibling Young & Rubicam. Y&R was already handling advertising for Sears apparel brands even before the recent review ordered by new Sears Holding chairman Edward Lampert.
