Pet owners seek savings on care

Veterinarians were once considered immune to economic pressures because people would not skimp on care for their pets. But recent research from the National Commission on Veterinary Economic Issues shows that pet owners are cutting spending on care, for example opting against nonemergency procedures and diagnostic tests.
